Welcome

I firmly believe that yoga is suitable for everyone.

By that same token, I appreciate that our responses

to physical and mental challenges are diverse and

thus unique.

Since the essence of yoga encompasses both body

and mind, the physical and the spiritual, there is no

"right" or "wrong" about how you wish to approach it,

or which aspects of yoga you may find most

appealing.

So, here's my invitation to give yourself the gift of

yoga today!

My Journey & Ethos

JUHA_HEADS_II.jpeg

2018, and I'd just turned 50.

After several years of trying to build a career as an actor, but with disappointing rewards, a re-invention was desperately needed.

I'd already been practising yoga for nearly 6 years, but I was yet to learn how to harness my practice towards being kinder to myself, and shedding the mind-junk I'd been hoarding. Things began to shift when I accepted that there were more ways to be creative or "successful" than I'd been willing to consider. It took a year to re-evaluate all the things I might be good at and how to make the most of them, and with that, I was finally ready to train as a yoga teacher and welcome a new chapter in my life.

I completed my 200-hour training with Yoga London in 2019, and registered with Yoga Alliance in 2020.

In the summer of 2022, I completed my 500-hour training. While Vinyasa Flow is the bedrock of my training, as a teacher I avoid getting too stuck in any particular dogma or style. You will be challenged, but never forced: there's no need to prove anything. To guide with alignment, hands-on adjustments are offered, but only if you so wish. You will be encouraged and empowered to discover your way to reap the full benefits of your practice, steadily working towards a stronger and more resilient body, and a less cluttered mind.

Every day you practise is different. Every day I teach is different.

The journey continues...
